Sequential Compression for Deep Vein Thrombosis Prevention
The Therma™ i-Compress Sequential Compression Device is used for prevention of Deep Vein Thrombosis, a condition in which a patient may be at risk of developing blood clots that can be potentially life threatening. The device is used with a pair of breathable compression garments that
wrap around the calf, thigh or foot. Using air compression the garments are inflated and deflated in an automated cycle that mimics the venous pressure of the patient to improve blood clotting and prevent possible blood clotting.
